Ballistics Battle Instructions

Introduction

Ballistics Battle is similar in nature to the classic game "Battle Ships". You, as the player, have to destroy all enemy bases before your own is destroyed.

The main difference to the classic game is that you have to guess the enemy base/s co-ordinates around the globe instead of letters/numbers on a flat grid. The co-ordinates will dictate the route on which your Inter Continental Ballistic Missile will be fired.

Starting the game

To start a game, firstly, enter your unique player name ("Tag") in order to be seen on the Top10 list, then select your difficulty. By default the game will be on "Medium" difficulty. The harder the level of difficulty you choose, the more general accuracy the enemy computer player will have with it's missiles. For instance, not every shot of a "Hard" difficulty opponent will be dead accurate, but the general accuracy of the missiles will be greater than an "Easy" or "Medium" opponent.

After choosing your difficulty, you have to select the number of "bases" you want to play with. You have an option between 1, 3, or 5 bases. The number of bases you choose indicates the maximum number of bases you can place on the globe. It also indicates the number of missile you can fire per round.

For example, if you choose to play with 3 bases, you have 3 missiles to fire per round, from any base of your choosing. You don't have to place all 3 bases on the globe, but it will be wise, because the enemy opponent will win much easier if they only have to destroy 2 bases instead of 3.

Placing your bases

Once you've selected your difficulty and the amount of bases, you will be presented with an "Add missile" button in the bottom left, as well as the enemy health bar/s in the bottom right.

At this stage you can freely browse around the globe to see where the enemy base/s are and decide where you want to place yours.

Once you're happy with where you'd like to place your bases, you can use the "GPS Helper" switch to help you find the co-ordinates of your selected area. You then add a base by clicking on the "Add missile" button where you'll be presented with a screen on which you fill out a name for your base, the bases' location co-ordinates and also the co-ordinates of the enemy base you wish to attack (the GPS Helper can also assist with finding the enemy co-ordinates).

The closer you fire your missile to an enemy base the more damage it will do. If you get the co-ordinates dead-center on the enemy base, you will deal 50% damage.

Beginning the game

After you have placed all your bases, the game will kick-off once you fire your fist missile. Depending on the amount of "bases" you chose will depict how many missile you need to fire before it's the opponents turn.

Your difficulty level will govern how many chances you have to edit your base's location and target co-ordinates per round to be more pinpoint accurate. For example, on "Easy" you have 3 edits per round, on "Medium" you have 2 edits per round and on "Hard" you have only one edit per round.

Game Over

The game will continue until all your bases or all your enemy bases are destroyed.

Please enjoy the game...
